The Gethsemane church is a community of Seventh-day Adventist believers who are organized for edification, worship and evangelism. We believe that God is empowering us to share His love, with each other and with our larger community in a dynamic and holistic manner.

Our mission is to live in loving fellowship, walk in the Master’s footsteps, reflect the character of God, lead others to Jesus and membership in His family, equip everyone for ministry.

Gethsemane Goals

Membership Maturity -- Each member will continually mature in Christ by the provision of educational and nurturing systems for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development
The Second Advent — each member will share the message of the second advent with the community through personal, and public evangelism
Stewardship — the church will educate members on the principles of Christian stewardship to continually support the ministries of the church and provide for gospel dissemination
Community Transformation — the church will satisfy specific community needs as part of its mission by establishing programs and services that meet community needs
Facility — the church will continue to improve and upgrade its facility to meet its own needs and those of the community

Skills-Driven—uses talents in God’s service
Leadership-trained—follows principles of church administration
Prayer-enhanced—members will be prayer warriors
Health & Life-style aware --knowledgeable about health and wellness
Community conscious --sensitive to the needs of the immediate community
Technologically aware--utilizes technology in the gospel ministry
Relationship-sensitive--Sensitive to issues of relationships, race, gender, ethnicity and nationality (ability to develop positive relationships across gender, race, nationality and ethnicity
Stewardship-Directed-- utilizes practices holistic stewardship principles in time, talent and income
